The Irish have finally put forth good efforts in back to back weeks. Outside of the interception in the end zone on the opening drive, the Irish looked really good. I know, I know…it’s Amry, but they are a 6-win team this year, so is it that crazy to consider this a second consecutive upset win?
The Notre Dame offense hasn’t skipped a beat despite having a totally different look from the start of the season. Freshman quarterback Tommy Rees and sophomore wide receiver Tyler Eifert might be the second coming of Brady Quinn and Jeff Samardzija. Rees looks a lot better than Quinn did after he took over as a freshman, not to mention Eifert looks exactly like Samardzija on the field.
Big win, makes us bowl eligible. And outside of the loss to Tulsa, and killing some kid, if you look at the schedule Notre Dame isn’t as bad as I thought they would be this year. A win at USC this Saturday would make this a gem of a year with a lot to look forward to next season. Can we please beat USC fucking once. Saturday is my birthday bash for Christ sake, give me something to work with.
Also, can Notre Dame wear the green jersey’s every game. I don’t think it’s too bold to say they are the best uniforms in all of football.
