As I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again…Rajon Rondo is the most overrated player in the NBA. Yea, he’s the point guard of the Celtics, big fucking deal. He controls the offense for one of the top 3 teams in the NBA. Whatever. Not like I considered Trent Dilfer a top QB when his Ravens beat the shit outta my Giants to win a championship. He just won because of what was around him.
I say this because Rondo had a triple double tonight, which included 22 assists. Sweet 22 assist bro. I didn’t watch the game, but I can bet top dollar you go back and can pick about 8-10 of those out, and they were assists that actually put his team at a disadvantage making. By that, I mean…him going up to make a basket on his own, was a higher percentage shot than the shot that was made by the person he dished out to. It’s been that way all year.
You could put over half the point guards in the league on the Celts and get the same type of production if they have the mindset to never take a jump shot. And by the way if they ever had the space rondo had, nearly every PG in the league would shoot 75 fucking percent. It’s absurd.
Before I get any comments about being a dick, there’s no question Rondo is the best defensive point guard in the league. And that’s why he’s fits perfectly with the Celtics. All he has to do is play D and give the ball to other people. And you know what….I know that game. Cant wait to play more pickup basketball because, minus being black, Rondo and I are comparable.
Actually that’s not true. I can hit over half my free throws and can also write in cursive. Probably why I wasn’t a one year student at kentucky.

he does what he is told by his team… Yes he does not have a great point guard type shot but he will take take HIS shots when he gets them. and his shots are when he gets close layups or floaters over or thew taller players like dwight howard in addition he is money from the points of the key… RR is the best point guard in the league and his lack of shooting is not due to a lack of skill its just because the Celtics off does not need a shotting pg they need one who spreads the ball and scores when he needs to, Just check out the highlights of any of the playoff games verses the magic and try and say this again

Put nash on the celts where he doesn’t need to score and he’d shoot 75 percent and avg over 20 assists A GAME. He’s top ten but no way the best. Not to mention if rondo could shoot a little better they prob woulda won it all last year
