Cue the Haters

I am just waiting to hear how the Jets backed into a win yesterday, how it was lucky. But guess what? The Jets won and have the best record in the NFL. The NFL is a funny place, you can lose the first week and it is like the end of the world. The fact of the matter is, the Jets played their worst game of the year. Sanchez looked terrible, the D couldn’t stop the run, and the Jets couldn’t run. Great teams win these types of games though. In the run to a championship, you need a little luck along the way. The Jets have won tight game already, and Sanchez made the throws he needed to at the end. Thats Jets football. A couple of things as well:

1. Can we just give it up to the Jets special teams? Nick Folk is the man, and we finally have a punter who doesn’t blow. Brad Smith honestly might be the best special teams player in the NFL, the guy is just a straight football player who does everything that can be done on the field.

2. The Jets really gotta stop forcing Santonio Holmes into the offense. I feel like certain passes are being forced to him just to integrate him into the game. They gotta let the game come to him.

3. I gotta give credit to the Giants. I thought they were going to blow this year, but Bradshaw is a lot better than I ever gave him credit for. The d-line might be the most talented of all time.

4. I am more than looking forward to the Jets-Steelers game late. In my opinion, they are the two best teams. That maybe a AFC championship preview.

5. Give it up for my boy Tim Tebow. I love the guy, and even though it was against the Jets, he looked like he could be a problem if he can prove he can air it out.
