If you asked a group of girls what do guys think about on a regular basis they would probably list of a couple obvious things like Sex, beer, and sports, but what they should add to that list nowadays is Fantasy fucking football. I’m not proud of it and no guy should be, but it’s the truth. I know for myself, when I’m in class the first site I go to besides facebook of course, is my fantasy team. I personally know people who sit there all day and wonder what they should do in fantasy. Like I said I’m not proud of it and no one should be and they probably won’t admit to it, but guys love FF more than most things in life. Now, there’s no way will I put FF above sex, beer, and sports in general, but god damn it it’s making its way up there. I heard a stat the other day from someone that states: Men look at Fantasy football more than porn now. Porn. Do you know how much teenage guys look at porn. It’s like a religion. I figure its like an age thing. From 14-17, your life revolves around porn. You have to sneak around and go on your moms computer when she’s not home so you can rubb one out. I mean what kid hasn’t done that. Ya, you know what i’m talking about. Once you hit college, yeah you’re still looking at porn, but now you’re just trying to get bids left and right so you don’t have as much time. Mid college years you start paying a lot of attention to FF because it’s for money and you want to beat your friends week in and week out. By fucking the end of college and into the “real” world, you might as well be jerking it to FF. That’s when you know your life is over. You start settling down and you get pumped every Sunday and it’s not watch your “favorite” team, it’s to bring up that fantasycast and watch Mario Manningham get one point at a time and you get real excited about it because you decided to put him in your starting lineup at the last minute.
Boys, lets admit it FF has taken over. Even when your team sucks, you think it’s fucking amazing. And everyone overrates their team. It’s hilarious, no one ever wants to trade anyone because there players have such “high” value. Everyone overthinks their team even if they suck. You might be the worst team in the league, but for some reason you are convinced Brandon Jacobs will turn it on at some point. No matter the circumstance you will never admit your team is bad. You could finish the season like the Lions did in ’08 and still think your team was good. I guess it’s just the way we are. We have such big ego’s, especially in sports.
…So if you take anything out of this FF is the new Porn.
